The anxieties of a bourgeois family who feels they’re being treated by a disadvantaged social group

A
They are our protagonists and our empathy lies in their struggle to earn enough money to survive

A
Equal in Kim household as everyone who’s able to work contributes to the family with no patriarchal hierarchy
However the park family are the opposite - father is traditional, work obsessed and emotionally cool and his wife is emotionally fragile and isolated
