Defined and delivered by WD.
The view or selection of instances of a given business object on which you want to report.
e.g. “All Active Employees” data source

Every Custom report can only have one report owner

Only the Owner can manage (also Report Admins if Config)
Only the owner can edit/delete/view his or her own custom reports. (Report Administrators can also have access if configured)

Yes, you can transfer report ownership

No, custom reports not shared / visible by default

Indexed data sources do not have all the functionality provided by standard data sources
