Repol Problems Flashcards
Congenital long QT syndromes
Congenital (Romano Ward can hear cloven T, Lange-Jervell-Nelson deaf), Brugada (SCN5A, nocturnal, STelev V12), swimming/exercising, loud sounds/fright
Nonspecific T changes V1-V4
Big meal, pain (hyperventilation), standing up
Global T inversions
Ischemia, CNS (pointier), HOCM, pericarditis, PE, takotsubo, cocaine, AV block)
Pericarditis
Diffuse ST elev (Ts stay up), avR knuckle sign, PR dep
NO RECIP CHANGE ( think MI)
Early repol
V4,5 —> J hook, big T >25% S
Biphasic T in V123
Wellen’s warning
Looks like a U but really it’s a cloven T
Romano Ward
JVP INCREASES on inspiration
Kussmaul sign, RV dysfunction
Osborne waves
Hypothermia, shivering in limb leads
Diffuse, deep, symmetric Ts
Takotsubo, no ST elev
ST elev only V1,2
Brugada, defib tx, marcaine can unmask
