What is renewable energy?
Renewable energy is produced using natural resources that are constantly replaced and never run out.
What do ground source heat pumps do?
Take low-level heat which occurs naturally underground an convert it to high-grade heat by using heat pump.
What does an Air source heat pump do?
Take low-level heat which occurs naturally in the air and convert it to high-level heat by using heat pump.
What are ground and air source heat pumps best used for?
Under floor heating.
What are the four main types of Hydro?
Dams
Pumped storage

What is Geothermal energy?
An energy contained in about 260 billion cubic metres of rocks and metallic alloys, just below the outer surface of the earth, that are at or near their melting points
What are Geothermal piles?
They are pile foundations with closed-loop ground source heat pump systems.
How do Solar thermal or solar hot water systems work?
By absorbing energy from the sun and transferring it, using heat exchangers, to heat water.
Solar electricity (photovoltaics), how does this transfer heat.
Convert sunlight into electricity.
