advice: compliance with antibiotic regime empty bladder after intercourse drink 2L of fluid a day wipe front to back
if UTI in labour commence antibiotics and monitor fetal wellbeing

complications: hypertension fluid retention anaemia proteinuria UTI's
due to risk of hypertension - advise women on signs of preeclampsia, assess symptoms
renal function should be carefully monitored in immediate postpartum period
ensure adequate hydration - prone to dehydration
