Analgesia - diclofenac
Fluids

Treatment options

  • Watchful waiting - often for asymptomatic stones and those <5mm
  • Medical expulsive therapy (alpha blocker e.g. tamsulosin for distal ureteric stones <10mm)
  • Surgery - generally for stones over 10mm
