Q

Lisinopril

Prinvil, Zestril

A

Indication: Hypertension
MOA: Competitively inhibits angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE), which relsults in decreased synthesis of angiotensin II. the reduction of angiotensin II also decreases the release of aldosterone, which in turn decreases sodium & water reabsorption & lowers plasma volume.
