Who was Aquinas and what did he do?
Thomas Aquinas was a priest and a doctor. He is considered the father of the classical component of theology and of Thomism. His best known works were the Summa Theologie and the Summa Contra Gentiles. The Church honoured him as a saint and said he was a model teacher for those studying priest hood

Who was Bacon and what were his contributions?
Francis Bacon was a scientist and was one of two key figures to emphasize the ideas of logical scepticism, experimentation and direct observation of nature in order to determine the truth. He believed in using all of your senses to determine the truth as opposed to taking the divine answer. He published his work called the Novum Organum (The new instrument of science) which challenged Aristotle’s methodology in his publication, the Organon. Bacon also made a system of inquiry that is still used today in the form of the Scientific Method. Instead during the time it was called the Bacon Method.

She was an Italian noblewoman. She was married 3 times in order to gain her family political power. Her second husband Alphonso was famously murdered by her brother Cesar Borgia. She is well known for turning Femera in Italy into a cultural centre and she even inspired the trope of the femme fatale which is still used in books today
