One of the most famous Renaissance artists he was a painter, sculptor, architect, and a poet. His artwork shows realism, details of the human body, expressions, and emotion. HIs greatest works were David and Pieta, and the ceiling in the sistine chapel.
Michelangelo
he perfected the Renaissance paintings he perfected the realism and perspective by studying Leonardo and Michelangelo. He was the Pope’s favorite artist because of his detailed painting showing details of Greece and Romans along the Renaissance people. His greatest painting is the school of Athens.
Raphael
He was a true Renaissance man, he was a painter and sculpture he really focused on the realism and emotion. He was also an inventor that made sketches on observations of human anatomy and new engineering technology. He created the last supper painting and the Mona Lisa.
Leonardo da Vinci
Florence’s greatest architect. He studied the Roman Pantheon when he built the Cuppolo of Maria del fiore cathedral in Florence, the domes inspired modern buildings designs.
Filippo Brunelleschi
The Renaissance spread from Italy as scholars and merchants visited the Italian city-states ideas spread and this Renaissance developed its own characteristics.
