A religious reform movement that focuses on the individual and the bible (against the church).
Martin Luther
German priest who started the protestant reformation by writing the 95 theses.
95 Theses
95 written complaints that went against the Catholic church.
Indulgences
Forgiveness of sins by giving payments.
Peace of Augsbrug
Settlement between lutheranism and catholicism in Germany to help them coexist (1555).
