the league then used moral condemnation but no other consequences

A
Britain and France were more worried about Mussolini in Abyssinia
Britain thought that the treaty of Versailles were being to harsh and Germany weren’t doing anything wrong
no one wanted war.

Hitler told the soldiers that if Frances army tried to stop them they should leave the Rhineland because they were to weak to fight back
when no one stopped him he became confident
