The mood is consoling and acepting as she expresses she is no longer fearful of being forgotten.

To highligt the speakers anxiety of being seprated from her beloved and being forgotten, yet accepting that he might forget her and understanding that she’d rather let him forget her and be happy than remember her and be sad.
