Only remedy indicated when infant is born with closed fontanelles. Cold wind agg HA. Perspiration while sleeping. Sense of cold cloth around the brain. Asthmatic attacks preceded by odor of fish brine.
Sanicula
Ulcers and abscesses with severe burning. Carbuncles that burn (3) and the only remedy with purple abscesses with stabbing/stitching pain.
Tar-cub
Cough remedy. Covers cough/nausea/hemorrhage triad. Horrible hanging down sensation in the stomach. Fingers in the mouth in children. Cough most intense during perspiration or delivery.
Ipecac
Covers GI/skin pathology. Herpes zoster opthalmicus (3). Drawing pain around the nipple as if with a string while the child is nursing. Vesicular eruptions on the scrotum with a red areola around it. Diarrhea comes on immediately after eating or drinking.
Crot-tig
Lots of vertigo and disequilibrium. Vertigo, loss of vision, epistaxis during pregnancy. Convulsions d/t loss of sleep. Cutting pains in the uterus with every breath. Involuntary urination during cough w/preg. Agg from night watching.
Cocculis
Spasm of uterus during labor. Chloasma. Inflam of small/finger joints. Delusion of pregnancy. Arrested labor.
Caulophyllum
Crawling/itching in the fossa navicularis (just proximal to urethral meatus). Cystitis or urethritis. Cutting/biting pains in the fossa navicularis after urination.
Petroselinum
Pathology of the skin. Eruption, eczema of the chest/leg (3). Indicated for burning rectal fissures. Perspiration on the sternum in the morning. Cancer of scar tissue of the breast (3). Eczema of scalp and eyelids.
Graphites
Convulsion with arrested respiration. Can be interrupted by a painful shock. Convulsions from a slamming door. Crawling of the extremities after convulsion. Main ingredient in the laminaceae family.
Strychnine
Warts that are very sensitive. Emotionally sensitive.
Staphysagria
Bellowing before seizure onset. Cyanosis/cramping in the finger during seizure.
Copper
Burning boils. On the septum, legs. Boils may be blue in color. Diabetic pts with recurrent boils. Malignant burning.
Anthracinum
Lots of salivation with corrhyza. Child bores the finger in the ear. Lots of nose itching.
Arundo
Discharge from the ear that causes vesicular eruptions on the lobe or side of neck. Circular herpetic eruptions which are intersecting. Itching in spots.
Tellurium metallicum
Painful cracks in the skin. Pt stays awake from sound of their heart. Del the pharynx has disappeared. Smell of Sulphur vapors in the nose, esp during sneezing. Desire to kill during menses.
X-ray
Deathly nausea with pale/greenish hue to the face. Solinaceae family. Better open air, closing eyes, uncovering abdomen. Sinking feeling in the abdomen.
Tobacco
Concussive sneezing, esp during fever. Odor of roses agg coryza. Del part of the body is deformed.
Sabadilla
Skin and respiratory pathology. Nosode from scabies eruption. Asthma better with lying in the floor in crucifix position. Cold Sulphur…where a jacket in the summer.
Psorinum
Hair loss and faintness during pregnancy. Ovarian pain after delivery. Left sided.
Lachesis
Warts on the lids and genitals that weep easily when touched. Condolymata shaped like cauliflower. Sticking pains (like a bone in the throat). Affinity for the mucocutaneous border. Unmoved by apologies.
Nitric acid
Pt feels they will lose sanity during preg or delivery. Spasmodic conctractions of os uteri during labor. Hearing becomes highly acute during labor pain.
Cimicifuga
Acne (3). Pus in the scrotum. Delusions of talking to dead people.
Calc silicata
Strong fear of death during delivery or from the afterpains. Ailments from excessive joy.
Coffea cruda
Cramping of the fingers during delivery. Abdominal pain that shifts suddenly to distant parts. Worse doubling over, better stretching out. Pollutions during sleep without erections.
Dioscorea
Coughs and convulsions. Sense of food or foreign bodies dropping into the larynx. Dreams of hemoptosis. Child must be raised b/c turns blue in the face and cannot exhale.
Mephites
Skin eruptions worse in the winter. On the occiput or wings of the nose. Eczema amel in the summertime. Eczema accompanied by herpes w/ motion sickness. Itching of the meatus of the ear as if frozen (3).
Petroleum
Purple discoloration (tonsils, skin). Perspiration of the scalp during headache. During dentition the child is better biting on something hard (3).
Phytolacca
Eruptions along margins of the hair from ear to ear. Hearing loss from suppressed eczema. Headache from suppressed vexation. White eruptions with pus underneath when peeled off. Facial neuralgias.
Mezereum
Seizure remedy. Agg by bright light and the sound of water. Convulsions at 9 pm. Convulsions from light, brightness, water.
Lysinum
Gastric headaches. Burning along entire alimentary canal. Lots of ropey saliva. Vomiting of bile during headache.
Iris versicolor
Itching in the ears, of the palette, and of the nose. Hay fever with itching in those areas. Cough ending in a sneeze. Feeling the ear is frozen and made of mushroom (4)
Agaricus
Rhus poisoning (poison oak). Angioedema. Stiffness and lack of mobility lead to restlessness. Feeling of a plug or hoop somewhere in the body. Feel like there’s a devil on one shoulder, angel on the other.
Anacardium
Child with a demanding cry. Quarrelsome during delivery. Compisitae family.
Chamomile
Warts on the iris and lids. Rectal wart (3). Condys bleed easily when touched. Only remedy for condy on the frenum of the penis.
Cinnibaris
Sparks in the visions during cough. Weakness in the stomach during diarrhea. Diarrhea can drive out of bed in the morning. Seminal emissions during sleep, stool, or urination. Love of animals.
Nuphar luteum
Fullness and distention of the bladder. As bladder volume increases, urgency decreases. Elderly incontinence.
Equisetum
Male genitalia condy with burning pain. Cauliflower-like condy of the rectum. Butternut-shaped hard growth on the dorsum of the penis.
Savena
Cracks on inner canthi. Cracks on the fingertips and palms. Worse in the winter. Icy coldness inside the nose which cold air agg. Coldness of the pharynx agg by inspiration.
Cistus Canadensis
Neuralgias and abdominal pain. Constipation after abuse of drugs. Sensitive to indignation. Diarrhea after anger. Involuntary stools made worse standing. Better bending forward or drinking coffee.
Colocynthis
Pathology of the liver. Liver complaints with neuralgias of the face. Referred pain to inferior angle of right scapula. Jaundice in newborns. Vomiting during pregnancy.
Cheledonium
Head feels like it’s opening and shutting. GU sxs: urethra inflamed and painful, bladder cramping after urination, forked stream, inflamed Calper’s gland. Sxs worse from touch or walking with legs too close together.
Cannabis sativa
Skin eruptions and sunstroke. Don’t like to be looked at, spoken to, or touch. Impetigo (4). Crusts and scabs inside the nose, honey-yellow points on the chin. Sentimental.
Antimonium crudum
Chills spread from the neck of the bladder. Bladder pain worse at the end of urination (which can only be passed while standing). Children cry before urination starts. Delusion they are friendless (lily family).
Sarsaparilla
Cracks in the heels. Lovesick. Tooth pain extending from one tooth to another. Swelling from the sternoclavicular joint.
Tilia
Cyanotic newborn (3). Asphyxia with stomach pains. Anxiety in the stomach extending to the head. Rosaceae family. Peach taste in the mouth.
Lauro
Hemorrhages….bright red, gushing, after abortion. Bloody expectoration after a fall. Copious bleeding of rectal condy. Ail after banging the head.
Liliforium (yarrow)
Cough remedy from a carnivorous plant. Gasping for air during cough. Must hold chest during cough and it can be so hard the nose bleeds. Cough as soon as head hits the pillow.
Drosera
Allergic rhinitis with acrid nasal d/c. Corrhyza w/discharge. Worse in the evening or warm rooms. Worse from smell of peaches or roses. Hayfever in august (3). Phantom limb pains.
Alium cepa
Red blotches on the palms of the hands. Pts separate from loved ones and families. Aversion to his wife. Indifferent to loved ones but animated with strangers. Del of the need to dissolve the marriage. Headache follows the sutures of the skull.
Fluoric acid
Herpes zoster ophthalmicus (3). Eruptions on cornea, chest, back, fingers, palms. Post-herpetic neuralgias.
