A

Trade: when you but and sell from someone else and get something in return.
Slave : a person who is to work for there owner by force.
Slave trade: Transporting and selling humans and making them slaves.

A

The reason why slave trade was so profitable is because the buying of the slave trade was expensive but what the slaves did made up the costs of buying the humans. The younger the more expensive because they had a longer life ahead of them then adults did.

A

Brutal as the slaves were put in narrow and low cabins with many others, were they can caught diseases and die. They were allowed to exit the ship if they were to exercise. Most of them didn’t survive because of suicide or diseases.

A

The slaves were scrubbed before presented to look health and clean the reason why they did this is because the healthier the person is the better they will be as a slave. If they had wounds or whips from the journey they would fill with hot tar.

Why was Queen Mary given her nickname and did she deserve it?

A

Queen mary was given her nickname because she was seen as a killer as she killed 300 people as they didn’t want to become catholics. This was mary being a very religious girl. Mary had a very tough life as her mother and father got a divorce and henry the Viii being her father wasn’t very nice and made it very hard for her. Mary as a child was very ill later in life she was diagnosed with ovary cancer and they didn’t know that at the time. She had many miscarriages and there were many rumours. Overall on the death poll of her rein wasn’t anything compared to her dads rein death toll being at 57,000.

A

Edward changed the nation into a protestant country. He changed the churches so they were more fair for those who couldn’t speak Latin or read it.

A

Lady Jane Grey was the eldest daughter of Henry Duke of Suffolk and she was the great-granddaughter of Henry VIII she was proclaimed Queen after the death of her cousin that protested King Edward VI lady Jane was beautiful and intelligent.
