Fundamentalism is when you want to bring back the old ways in a religon. Meaning that you follow holy scripts and following it literally. Ex: If the holy scripture it says, you have to kill this man for doing that, u need to kill him.

One example are the Zionist since they wanted a Israeli state, they can be seen as a fundamentalist group considering that they brought back jewish control over Israeli. Because of the Torah.
Orthodox- they follow all scriptures literally, Ex: A law int he torah that you can’t mix diary products with flesh. Many orthodox have 2 kitchens, one for flesh and 1 for dairy products.
Discuss why it seems like fundamentalist groups are growing today?
Fundamentalist groups are growing because they offer stability in a unstable world. Personally I believe this means that people are scared of that many things in the world are not decided, so they are putting there faith in things that won’t change.

No because Islam is a mail dominant religon. There is nothing in the Quran which states that women can’t be religious leaders, but in mohammed’s, the Hadich, which is the biography of mohammed, there he had stated that women can not hold male prayers, amongst other things.
What are the different groups basing there interpretation on?
Christianity is basing there interpretation on the 12 apostles, which is basically the 12 people that jesus chose. And all of the apostles were men, and that’s why there can’t be any women carnivals, and such.
Islam: In Islam they are basing there interpretation on mohammeds saying, an example is that women can’t hold prayers.
Judaism: I DONT FUCKING KNOW!

Compare and contrast the view of man and the view of god in Judaism, christianity, and Islam.
Christianity and Islam: Christianity say that all the believers are gods people. They believe that they have a new contract with god which says that they are the right ones. They see god as the son, father, and holy spirit. Similar principal in Islam, they believe that all muslims are all the same. In the beginning of the religon, the majority of the world was man dominant, since men were more important, they did more things, which then influenced islam and christianity.
Judaism: In judaism they say that only jews are gods people. They believe that god is there father, the people think they believe that they have gone into a contract, and that Israel is there land and that god is all mighty.
Is homo sexuality accepted in christianity?
Christianity considers homosexuality unnatural, they believes it is seen as an immoral act. If god had intended gay marriage to be a natural act, he would not have made it unlikely in the eyes of humans. But for the christian people themselves, they don’t see homosexuality as an issue, but something that should be normal and allowed.

The subject of homosexual behavior and Judaism dates back to the Torah. That can be subject to capital punishment under halakha (Jewish law). Traditionally, Judaism has understood homosexual intercourse as a negative act towards Judaism, and this opinion is still maintained by Orthodox Judaism.
