Baba Banda Singh Bahadur
Once a Hindu priest who thought that he knew a lot about religion, he was amazed by the 10th Guru’s viewpoint about religion and teachings that he had to offer. Being so impressed with the Guru, he became a devoted follower and worshipper of the Guru, and was so brave in battle that he was given the nickname ‘Bahadur’.
Baba Deep Singh
Another man who had his life revolutionised by Guru Gobind Singh Ji. He was amazed by the Guru and was said to fight as bravely as a lion. He was so spirited in his faith in God that he wanted to die inside a religious temple, if he had the choice. When he was fighting in battle, he was beheaded and his head landed in from of the Guru Granth Sahib which blessed him so greatly that it was said that he picked his head up from the ground with his body and continued fighting until the end of the battle.
