John Wycliffe
(1369-1415) Bohemian (Bohemian name Jan Huss) who, influenced by John Wycliffe, thought that Church was not needed for salvation; burned at the stake at the Council of Constance in 1415. Followers were called Hussites
John Huss
(1368-1431), pope (1417-1431) elected pope by the Council of Constance; his election ended the Great Schism and reestablished the Roman papacy
