Two reasons the old testament is important. To christians
- God promised a messiah in the old testament.
- it describes the beginning of God relationship with humans.

God the father is our father,God the son is jesus,God the holy sprit lives inside us.
What were the margenalised?
The word ‘incarnate’ means ‘made flesh’ and the Incarnation refers to the time when God became flesh - in other words, a human being - in Jesus. This is a very important belief for Christians because it shows that while Jesus is truly human, he is at the same time, truly God.
