The first book in the Bible. Genesis means “New Beginning” and states that the Earth was created by God in seven days.

An individual who believes in more than one god.
Monotheism
An individual who believes in only one god.
Atheist
An individual who does not believe in any god.
Agnostic
An individual who is “on the fence” with believing in a god or not.

How did Moses meet God?
Moses met God at the bush that was burning excessively.
What is the first beatitude and its meaning?
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”
Meaning: Those mourning from a loss or dealing with evil shall be comforted by God’s love.
What is the second beatitude and its meaning?
“Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God.”
Meaning: Those who are clean of heart and have their priorities straight shall see God in heaven.
What is the third beatitude and its meaning?
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
Meaning: Blessed are those who suffer, as they will see God in heaven.
Why was the “burning bush” moment so significant for Moses and the Israelites?
The “burning bush” moment was so significant for Moses and the Israelites because God himself was giving Moses the important task of freeing the Israelites from slavery and sin.
