2 occasions of sin
• Remote
o A situation that generally wont cause you to sin but it could.
• Proximate
o Circumstance that generally leads to sin.
4 conditions for double effect
- Action itself must be good or morally neutral.
- Good effect must be directly intended not the bad one.
- Good effect must not be produced by the bad effect.
- Good must be proportionate to the bad.
