Religion
A BASIC BELIEF SYSTEM or the belief/worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a god or gods
Culture
The customs, arts, social institutions, and achievements of a nation, people, or other social group.
Ethnicity
People who have common racial, religious, or cultural origins. (Ex; Hispanic, Asian, American Indian, African American)
Race
A grouping of humans based on shared physical or social qualities into categories generally viewed as distinct by society. (Ex; African American, Asian, Caucasian)
Universal Religion
Religions NOT associated with a specific country (Ex; Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism)
Nationality
When you belong to a specific country (Ex; French, German, Russian, Japanese, Korean)
Ethnic religion
Organized belief associated with a particular ethnic group (Ex; Hinduism and Islam are associated with Indians)
Cultural Integration
Cultural EXCHANGE in which one group assumes the beliefs, practices, and rituals of another group without sacrificing the characteristics of their own culture.
Cultural Diffusion
Spread of culture (such as clothing and food) from one group to another as a result of making contact for the first time.
