when a man and a woman are married.

be faithful to each other for the rest of their lives.
As married couples they
To love and be true to each other always, lovingly accept their children, and are strengthened by God’s grace to live out their promises to Christ and eachother.

Fidelity
Faithfulness to a person and to duties, obligations, or promises. In marriage, fidelity is loyalty and willingness to be true to each other always.

Are they free to give themselves in Marriage? Will they love and honor each other for the rest of their lives. Will they lovingly accept children of God and raise them in faith.
The deacon or priest receives the couples promises and asks
God to strengthen their love and faithfulness and to fill them with many blessings.
What happens after the Lord’s Prayer.
The priest faces the couple and prays a special prayer asking God’s favor on this new Marriage. This is call a Nuptial blessing. Nuptial is another word for Marriage or wedding ceremony.
Note: The sacrament of Matrimony is a sacrament at the service of communion
