Prejudice
Believing some people are inferior or superior without even knowing them.
Racial harmony
Different ethnic groups living together peacefully.
Religious freedom
The right to practice your religion and change your religion.
Racism
The belief that some races are superior to others.
Religious pluralism
Accepting all religions as having equal rights to co exist in society.
Community cohesion
A common vision and shared sense of belonging for all groups in society.
Discrimination
Treating people less favorably because of their ethnicity/gender/color/class(treating them differently because of their background)
Multi ethnic society
Many different races and cultures living together in one society.

Benefits of living in a multi faith society(4)
- You learn how to respect each other, which lessens the rate of violence.
- You can learn from other religions and take ideas on how you can practise your own religion.
- You can work with different religions and see what you have in common, to promote community cohesion.
- It increases tolerance and understanding as people realise that everyone is entitled to their own opinion on religion
- People will be more likely to support community cohesion, making it a safer place for everyone.
