Fate of humans after death in monastic religions heaven or hell
Ancestors
departed family members (as opposed to nature spirits) but not direct ancestors. Interact with individuals or groups and are known through shamans.

View that nonhuman objects living and non are inhabited by some kind of spirit

Supernatural beings with extraordinary powers and functions.

People recognize many different gods but worship only one

A form a spirituality stressing Union with God and religious experience rather than doctrine

Ritual
A sacred custom or any form of repetitive behavior that is fixed by tradition.
Sacrifice
An act of slaughtering an animal or person or surrendering a possession as an offering to God or to a divine or supernatural figure.

God’s redemptive plan by which a prison is reconciled with God.
