what is prayer
- raising our hearts and minds to God

- adoration, contrition, thanksgiving, suplication,

virtue-
A firm and habitual disposition toward good.
vice-
A firm and habitual disposition toward evil

Charity- love god above all things with all your heart, mind, soul, strength, & body
Hope- is trusting God will give you solution and the means/grace to obtain.
faith- believing all that God has revealed
list an define the 4 cardinal virtue
prudence- keeping your final goal in mind
fortitude- the ability or the strength to do what is right even when difficult
temperance- limiting your desires to the proper amount. so you control them and not vice versa.
justice- giving others what you owe them+ not interfering with rights.
wrath-
- an excessive anger/hatred toward another
- patience
lust-
- using someone as an object (sexually)
for impure pleasure. - chastity
sloth-
an excessive laziness and a failure to use ones gifts and talents
diligence
gluttony
an excessive eating/drinking past being full making yourself sick exc.
temperance
pride-
excessive view of oneself w/out care for others
humility
envy
an intense desire for what another person has, and sad that they have it.
kindness
greed
an excessive pursuit of material goods.

a government that controls basicly everything (slavery basicly)

the greatful response of a christian disciple who recognizes and receives God’s gifts and share these gifts in love of God and neighbors.
ten commandments
you shall not have strange Gods before me.
You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.
Remember to keep holy the LORD’S Day.
Honor your father and your mother.
You shall not kill.
You shall not commit adultery.
You shall not steal.
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife.
You shall not covet your neighbor’s goods.
