A

1935, gave unions the ability to negotiate better working conditions. Also helped restrict how employers could react to what labor unions did and protected workers from industry. CIO, AFL

What was the NLRB vs. JLSC?

A

National Labor Relations Board vs. Jones and Laughlin Steel Corp. NLRB charged JLSC with unfair labor practices for intimidating union organizers. 1937 ruled in favor of NLRB allowed unions to grow. Brought in power of congress.

Photographer, focused on migrants, employed by WPA, worked for FSA (Farm Security Administration) to make historical documentaries, “Migrant Mother”-ionic photo taken by her, because of her photos FDR tried to help with more relief in California for migrants
