How can reliability be assessed?

A
  • Test-retested method assessed the external consistency for a test which refers to the degree to which different raters give consistent estimates of the same behaviour.
  • Inter-rater reliability can be used for interviews - if the data is similar it’s reliable

How can reliability be improved?

A

Through experimental methods
• increase the number of reps of each measurement and use average
• repeat single measurements and look at the difference
