How did my grandfather meet my grandmother? (mom’s parents)
During the war (WW2), my grandfather was in the army, stationed in france, years later she came to America and they married.
How did my mom meet my dad?
My mom was working in Fountain, CO and was a bartender (mixing drinks!) and my dad walks in (he was a cowboy) and my mom instantly fell in love with him.
What is the most dangerous thing my grandmother (on mom’s side), ever did?
She stomped on the boot of a SS (Nazi) officer!
What memories does Brett have most strongly about his Grandfather? (on mom’s side)
Sitting in his sofa recliner, watching looney tunes cartoons and laughing often. And also falling asleep a lot in that same chair.
What memories does Brett have of his grandmother? (on moms side)
Cooking a lot, finding easter eggs in her yard during easter and picking apples from apple trees, and also riding her big pink mountain bike around the neighborhood, and also playing bingo with her.
