What is the catholic stance on divorce?
Catholics do not approve of divorce, as they believe marriage is a sacrament, so it is irreversible. The only cases in which a marriage can end are annulment and the death of one of the spouses. A catholic could get divorced, however the marriage would continue in the eyes of God.

“Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.””
What is the Church of England stance on divorce?
The Church of England allows divorce if the marriage is beyond repair. They may first offer marriage counselling, however.
What is the Catholic stance on homosexuality?
The Bible is explicitly against homosexuality. Catholics do not accept homosexuality at all, and will not marry same-sex couples, however they take a “Love the sinner, hate the sin” attitude. The Vatican says that homosexuality is a disorder, however these people should still be accepted. They call homosexual people to chastity.
What is the Quaker stance on homosexuality?
Quakers are happy to marry same-sex couples, and instead focuses on the quality of the relationship. In 1963 the Quaker church that any relationship with tenderness, an openness to responsibility, and the seed of commitment will not shut out God.

What do Catholics believe about the role of women?
The Catholic Church does not allow women to be in positions of authority, because of the apostolic succession. They also believe that during the Eucharist the priest takes on the position of Christ, which a woman could not do. They would say that the roles of men and women are different, but equal – a woman could not be a religious teacher because she has her own family to worry about.

What is the Catholic stance on contraception?
Catholics are against any sex act which cannot result in pregnancy, because the purpose of sex should be to procreate. This means that Catholics should not use birth control.
What is natural law?
Natural law is the things that Aquinas observed all societies do, therefore this is what we should continue to do.

What is the Catholic stance on sex outside of marriage?
It is adultery.
What is the Church of England stance on sex outside of marriage?
It is acceptable if the couple have the intention to get married.

Quakers are neutral towards this.
