CATHOLIC: nuclear family as they see marriage as the ideal situation to have children and follow the bible’s teaching on commitment, also the Bible teaches about respect for parents ‘honour your father and mother’ and a married mother and father living together is the most ‘honourable’ way to live
CofE: that other family structures (single-parent families, blended families, LGBT families) can offer stability and love to children. Jesus said the greatest commandments were to love God and love one another, therefore if you are a non-nuclear family who still believes in God and loves one another, you are still fulfilling the Bible’s message
