-means “indication of Reiki power”
- and “Ho” methods
- encompasses the following:
1) “Visualization “

Third pillar-chiryo
Means “treatment “
-“scanning”
-“Healing attunements”

Traditional hand positions
Say one of following intenentions
“Please let this session go as it is should.”
“Please allow this healing to serve (___) ‘s highest good”
“Flow through me to resolve (———) ‘s ease”
Protection (disconnect)
If you have picked up symptoms it’s because you have picked up their energy or symptoms and didn’t disconnect from the session
Ridding yourself of picked up symptoms
1) visualize the energy with them or that thing
2) visualize a pair of scissors cutting that attachment
3) visualize yourself being immersed in pure white healing light that is cleansing from head to toe
-use grounding symbol as part of disconnecting process
-do ‘physical cues’ as part of process
Include or increase
1) a lit of rest / meditation
2) drink water
3) fruit and veggies
4) perform scanning part of reiki on self daily
5) drink glass of water as soon as wake up
The 5 Reiki symbols
Cho Ku Rei ( Power symbol)
Means bring the power of the universe here
Purpose-increase the power of the universal energy coming into you through Reiki
-“one size fits all “ for all types of treatments
Sei Hei Ki ( emotional symbol)
-intent is emotional healing and calming
-meaning is “God and man becoming one”
-when to use: clear emotional blockages or restore harmony to active or troubled mind
Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen ( distance symbol)
-strengthens your ability to heal from a distance
-meaning - “higher self in me connects to Higher Self in you to promote enlightenment and Peace

Drawing and activating the symbols
- Go through the “drawing “ motion of the symbol
- As you do, visualize it drawn in front of you
- Once the image is drawn, hold it in your mind s eye
- Take your dominant hand and encourage or nudge it into area that you want it to go
- Watch the symbol absorb into your attunee
Symbol use quick reference
- Cho Ku Rei (power symbol)- general well being to “power up” the session s energy or when no other symbol fits
- Sei Hei Ki (emotional symbol) - when someone needs help clearing emotional blockages , to unite one s heart and mind , or when need to strengthen emotions
- Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen ( distance) - to heal a connection to anything at a distance
- Dai Ko Myo (master)-to help enhance your own or someone else’s mastery or enlightenment
- Raku ( grounding) -“encapsulate” a sense of peace and wellbeing in your client, use this to capture all the goodness of session into them , great symbol to end session with
