• +/- 1 hour eta
• Get the approach plate to the destination, add 1500 to the circling MDA -or- If there’s no circling, 1500 above lowest minimums (ILS) or 2,000 ft above the airport elevation, whichever is higher.
• Visibility: Forecast to be at-least 3 miles or 2 miles more than the lowest applicable visibility minimums.

• If you go to nontowered airport & only have 1 nav system (ex. ONLY GPS) then you need to add 400 to MDA/DA & 1SM. With 2 systems, (ex. GPS & VOR) then add 200 & 1/2 SM.
