  2. Digastric muscle
    - Anterior belly: Origin- Digastric fossa, Insertion- Intermediate tendon that attaches to the body of hyoid
    - Posterior belly: Origin- Intermediate tendon, Instertion: Digastric groove
  3. Mylohyoid muscle- Origin: Mylohyoid line of mandible, insertion: body of hyoid
  4. Geniohyoid muscle- Origin: inferior mental spine of the mandible, Insertion: body of hyoid
