The IGP vineyards are found in the** limestone and sandstone** scrubby, pebbly, thin soils of the foothills of the Cévennes mountains..
The Mediterranean climate hosts the Mistral wind.
**Gamay, Syrah, Grenache and Cinsault **are the chief varieties.
Pierre Gonon’s ‘Les Iles Feray” is a fine example.
Herve Souhaut’s ‘Domaine Romaneaux-Destezet Syrah is another.

This IGP is located between Lyon and Montélimar.
It produces RD/WHT/Ro wines.

The geology and topography is sandstone, limestone and granite on hills and valleys
This IGP enjoys a continental climate/ The Mistral is a factor
