James town
James town was settled by England British men. The British men made lot of money my selling tobacco. since there was fertile soil in James town Virginia the town ended up growing into a powerful colony because they sold a lot of tobacco.
Massachusetts bay.
settled by puritans who were from England that wanted to religious freedom and built small towns.
New Amsterdam
settled by the Dutch they traded and fur and later go taken over by America
