A
- place a glass or perspex block on a sheet of paper on a flat surface and direct a narrow beam of light from a light box through the block.
- note the path of the light beam as it enters and passes through the block.
- repeat this for various shapes of block and the light ray entering the block at different angles.
- Observe how the light changes direction as it passes through each shape.
