What is refraction?
Refraction is when light travels through different materials and its speed changes which can make it change direction
Which colours bend most and least?
Blue bends most, red bends least (think about a rainbow)
How are rainbows made?
Light from the sun is dispersed when it enters raindrops. These colours are reflected from the back of the raindrop
What happens when light hits an opaque object?
It forms a shadow
What happens when light hits a glass block?
It refracts
What happens when light hits a mirror?
It reflects
What is dispersion?
Where different colours are slowed down by different amounts which causes them to refract (bend) by different amounts
What is the equation involving wave speed, wave length, and frequency
Wave speed = frequence x wave length
What is the order of refraction of light?
Towards Air to Glass, Away Glass to Air (TAGAGA)
