It was set up by the Catholic Church leaders who improved the Church by listening to some of Luther’s criticisms

It involved the Jesuits and their job was improve the standard of religious education

It was set up to punish Heritics which involved Pretestants being tortured and some being burned at the stake for refusing to change their beliefs
