Why is FPTP not good for democracy
A
Plurality system meaning 1 more vote than second best wins, winners bonus gives winner huge majority, number of seats is not proportional to number of votes, minor parties less represented in parliament

Why should the uk change to PR specifically additional members system (AMS)
A
Proportional votes means people are more inclined to vote (higher turnout means higher legitimacy ), minor parties have more chance of getting into power like greens in 2021 Scottish election( coalition with snp) , ams brings advantages of FPTP but also is proportional so why not use
