Referal Pain Flashcards
Over arm and cubital fossa and a little on the post shoulder
Biceps brachii
Post shoulder running all the way down the arm and sometimes into the 4th and 5th digits
Triceps brachii
Post shoulder all the way down the medial arm, skips forearm, and appears again in the wrist
Subscapularis
All along the ant lateral part of the arm to the fingertips. As well as a bit in the post medial part of the neck
Infraspinatus
All down the back skipping some sections. A little bit under the nipple and over the inguinal ligament
Erector spinae
Mid part of the back leading to the post medial part of the arm all the way down to the 4th and 5th fingers
Latissimus dorsi
All the way around the butt cheek, over the sacrum and just a little down the post thigh
Gluteus medius
Lateral part of the sacrum as well as the lateral part of the glutes heading down the thigh stopping just above the knee
Pitiformis
Lateral to the 11th T spine down to the 5th L spine. As well as half of the proximal ant thigh
Iliopsoas
Over whole boob area down the arm, big pain just under the elbow, shows up again in the 5th 4th and 3rd fingers
Pectoralis major
Post to the ear heading up following the curve of the head and ending post to the eye. Separate part on the angle of the mandible
Trapezius
Space between the angle of the scapula and the cervical vertebrae, along the medial boarder of the scapula, and a little on the proximal post arm
Levator scapulae
Chin, cheek, around the eye, top of the head, and over the sup nuchal line
Sternal division of SCM
Ear and post ear, above both eyes
Clavicular division of SCM
Medial boarder of scapula following the post medial ant part of the shoulder, runs down same part of the arm and forearm. Ant heads to the thumb. Post hearts to the thumb, 1st and 2nd fingers. Also appears in the chest
