Cross - symbol of christs win against sin
Risen christ - focuses on christ as the risen saviour. Reminds them that they recieve the body and blood of risen christ

Ransome being paid - (a slave can be fre if someone pays) the fall of adsm and eve makes them the slaves of sin. God paid the ransom and freed them from sin and slavery

The prayer said before communion - it recalls the lamb of god (jews escape from egypt) - (angel of death —> lamb blood in front of doors)

Honouring the presense of christ in the consecrated fpbread and wine. Some catholcis belive that recieving communionvon their tongue rather on their hand makes them feel like they are actually recieving God
