Pinot Noir(French)

High toned, sour cherry & raspberry, baby strawberry, Stoney minerality w/ bright acid.
*Bonnardot is an under‐the‐radar family in Santenay, making lovely, pure, expressive reds next to the village of Chassagne‐Montrachet

Ripe red cherries, raspberries, oak, broad mouthfeel w/ a smooth finish.
*Copain is a great example of and expressive and balanced California Pinot.
Gamay
Julien Sunier Morgon Beaujolais, France 2014 $19 BURG
Floral, juicy cranberry, sour cherry, pomegranate, Stoney/smokey minerality.
*Julien Sunier is one of top young winemakers in Beaujolais, making incredible wine in the style of some of the great Burgundy producers.
Niellucciu
Domaine Giacometti 'Cru des Agriates' Patrimonio, Corsica, France 2013 $15 BDX
Salty minerality, black cherry, blackberry, red currant, gripping tannins and vibrant acidity.
*Niellucciu (thought to be Sangiovese) makes bold, dry red wines, like this unaoked example from the Agriate area of Corsica’s Patrimonio region.
Barbera
Scarpetta Monferrato, Piedmont, Italy 2014 $14 BDX
Black plum and cherries with a smooth mouth feel, subtle tannins and acidity.
*This is a softer, restrained example of Barbera with minimal oak and more terroir expression produced by Master Sommelier Bobby Stucky.
Nebbiolo

Rose petal, sour cherry, raspberry/cranberry, licorice, tobacco, tar, leather, mushroom.
*Classic Nebbiolo from Piedmont: high-toned fruit character balanced by silky, earthy notes. High tannins and acid. Great with food(TRUFFLES!!)
Cabernet Franc
Sebastien David 'Kezako' St. Nicolas de Bourgeuil, Loire Valley, France 2013 $18 BDX
Ripe red plum, green pepper, baking spices with a broad mouthfeel and smooth finish.
Native yeast fermented Cabernet Franc made w/ Carbonic maceration a funky, earthy experimental cab franc that shows the experimental spirit of Loire Valley producers.
Syrah(Balthazar)
Franck Balthazar, Cotes du Rhone Rhone Valley, France 2014 $14 BDX
Light-medium body, floral, peppery/gamey with lean, fresh acid profile to back up the juicy black fruit.
*Balthazar is a legendary producer in Cornas (Northern Rhone), and this is his first project making Cotes du Rhone from a terrific vineyard in Vinsobres, in the middle Rhone.
Syrah(Chave)
J.L Chave Selection, 'Offerus' Saint-Joseph, Northern Rhone, France 2012 $24 BDX
Full-bodied w/ notes of black raspberry, smoke, cured meat and olive brine. Elegant mouth feel and smooth finish.
*The Offerus is a classic blended style of syrah from arguably the most important Northern Rhone producer.
Cabernet Sauvignon
Mas de Daumas Gassac Pay d'Herault, Languedoc‐ Roussillon, France 2012 $27 BDX
Full bodied with notes of blackberry jam, green pepper and sweet baking spices. Sturdy tannins.
*Wines of Mas Daumas Gassac have gained international cult status and are known to be the “Grand Crus of Southern France.”
