General red flags
A
- Onset of new complaint <20 or >50
- Night pain
- loss of appetite
- weightloss
- SOB
- Frequent nausea and vomitting
- recent onset headche
- neurological signs that are progressive or cover more than one dermaome or is bilateral

A
S- systemic, signs of infection, pregnacy, cancer, stiff neck with photophobia, meningitis
N- neurological signs,
O-onset, suddent and abrupt, new
Older- >50
P- previous HA history, changed or become ing more frequent or wore

Acute neck pain and back pain
A
SSx or risk factors for infection history of trauma or minor trauma if older use of corticosteroids past history of malignancy > 50 years failure to improve with ttx unexplained weight loss progressie neuro signs in limbs dysphagia, headache, vomitting, CV risk factors changes in bowel or bladder function sadle paraestheisa Sexual dysfunction

A
weak bone vascular insufficienty lack of working diagnosis lack of informed consent excessive tissue feedback progressive neurological dysfunction

A
patients general health and well being disc herniation pregnancy long term corticosteroid use psychological dependency adverse reactions to treatment treatment in the last 24 hours
