Autopilot Minimum Engagement Height

A

After Take-off (if SRS is Indicated). 100 ft AGL
Enroute. 900 ft AGL
RNAV visual approach 500 AGL
Non-Precision Approaches. DDA/DA
Non-Autoland ILS CAT 1 FMA. 160 AGL
Non-Autoland ILS CAT 2/3 FMA. 80 AGL
Go-Around (if SRS is indicated). 100 AGL
Auto land Approach. Rollout/Taxi Speed

25
Notes Auto Flight Limitations
* When visibility is less than 4,000 RVR, the approach must be flown with the autopilot engaged if operable * the use of AP to FD in Open DES mode is not permitted inside the FAF or below 1000 ft AGL on visual approach * the use of auto thrust is approved with or without AP/FD I. Selected or managed mode
26
Non-Precision Approach Authorizations
For non_precision Approaches conducted to an applicable Minimum Descent Altitude (MDA), a derived decisión altitude (DDA) must be calculated and observed as minima. DDA is calculated by adding 50’ to the published MDA.
27
When is Autoland Requiered?
Autoland is requiered below CAT 1 minimums. Furthermore, to minimize the chances of go-around, Frontier’s policy is to set up and brief for an Autoland if reported RVR/Visibility is at or below 1/2 mile or 2400 RVR and all of the requierements for an Autoland can be met , (environmental, aircraft approach capability, ground equipment, etc) the approach will be briefed and flow. As CAT II or CAT III Autoland. Note: if one Autoland requirements cannot be met, a non Autoland CAT I app may be conducted down to our lowest authorized CAT I min 1800RVR or as published
28
