- Move warning strap across window and snap in place with strap draped over handle.
- Push down on door handle.
- Remove girt bar and place into brackets.
- Ensure the words “This Side Down” are not visible,

A
- Asses conditions.
- Rotate handle fully.
- Hold onto door assist handle.
- Push door out while monitoring the girt bar.

What are the 4 steps to closing the Boeing door?
A
- Face door frame and release gust lock.
- Grab door assist handle and pull door toward body.
- Slowly guide door closed while monitoring girt bar.
- Rotate door control handle to the right.

Emergency Evacuation (Land) Drill
A
- Proper brace position
- HEADS DOWN, STAY DOWN x3
- OPEN SEATBELTS-OPEN SEATBELTS
- Grab Flashlight
- Asses interior conditions
- STAY BACK (as many times as needed)
- Asses exterior conditions
- Open door
- Pull inflation handle while holding onto door assist
- Re-asses conditions outside
- YOU TWO, STAY AT THE BOTTOM, HELP PEOPLE OFF, SENDING THEM AWAY FROM THE PLANE
- Step out of the way and motion people to you
- LEAVE EVERYTHING, EXIT HERE, JUMP (repeat)
- Keep assessing inside and outside conditions

- Flashlight and Life Jacket
- Move toward the window exit will assessing conditions on both sides of the A/C
- OUT OF MY WAY- OUT OF MY WAY
- OUT OF THOSE SEATS- OUT OF THOSE SEATS
- Retract armrests in exit row
- Assess outside conditions through window
- Pull handle/open window
- Reassess conditions
- YOU- OPEN THAT WINDOW.
YOU- TAKE ROPE- HOOK TO YELLOW RING
YOU TWO- KEEP PEOPLE ON WING - Move to elevated protected position
- Motion people towards you
- EXIT HERE- INFLATE VESTS- STEP THROUGH (repeat)
- Continuously assess inside and outside conditions

- Pull the velcro strip at the top of the training pouch

- Position the mask by adjusting the speech transmitter
- Pull quick starter lanyard
- Adjust the body belt to fit
- Speak aloud while PBE is donned

A
- Pull the bright red tear strip at the top of training pouch
- Hold oxygen cylinders up and clear visor area down
- Grasp cylinders, one in each hand and knuckle to knuckle, pull apart quickly
- Insert hands (palm to palm) into rubber neck seal and pull hands apart to make opening
- Place over head
- Speak aloud while PBE is donned
