What is job analysis?
Job analysis is the first stage in the recruitment process, it is the decision made of when a person leaves whether or not the role is needed or necessary.
What is a job specification?
Job specification is the qualifications, experience and references needed specific to the role.
What is a job description?
Job description is the roles and responsibilities within the job and the line manager.
Describe what person specification is.
Person specification is the skills and qualities of the applicant which is sorted into essential and desirable sections to make a decision of who to employ.
What is the difference between skills and qualities?
Skills are traits that can be learned or picked up such as punctuality and IT skills whereas qualities are traits you are born with e.g.) kind and punctual .
What is the difference between essential and desirable?
Essential s&q’ are things that are a must have for the certain job/role but desirable are just additional bonuses but no necessary such as a drivers license etc.
What is advertising within the business called?
Internal Advertisment
What is advertising out with the business called?
External Advertisement
What should NOT be done during interview or recruitment process?
The employer should never be discriminative towards any employees or request certain preferred ages, races, genders or religions.
What should every employer remain during recruitment and selection process?
Professional and unbiased.
