A
An internal recruitment looks for suitable candidates from staff who already work for the company but the external recruitment are looking for suitable candidates outside the organisation.

- Its cheaper, the cost of advertising for example in newspapers, that can be avoided
- The person is already known to the organisation and so there is less chance of appointing the ‘wrong’ person
