- Kett occupied Norwich
- Northampton (member of the nobility) was sent to suppress the rebels. However, Kett beat him and recaptured Norwich.
- Northumberland (John Dudley) was now sent to suppress the rebellion with 12,000 men. He offers a pardon at first but was refused.
- Northumberland was successful in defeating the rebels.
- 3,000 rebels slaughtered
- Kett was arrested and later hung.
