puppies & kittens can’t be sold from a third party seller (pet store) unless they were bred there themselves. must deal directly with breeder.
what is the purpose of captive breeding?
- reduce pressure pressure to deal with issues that have endangered a species
- breeding for conservative reasons can allow restocking with the breed when conditions allow
- breeding endangered species can ensure survival of species
