A

Relative deprivation, (how well off you are from others). Jealousy of what others have that you don’t, technology, money or bigger house
Subcultures, a groups way of achieving society material goals, by resorting to crime when legitimist means are blocked
Marginalisation, groups with out organisations to represent their interest and goals (unemployed)

Right Realism

A

The best way to resolve the problems of criminality is to get tough on crime. Crime is committed because:

Biological Differences, inherited personality traits

Inadequate Socialisation, effective socialisation reduces the risk of a person becoming a criminal by teaching them self-control and correct values

Offending is a rational choice, we all have free will to commit the crimes (rational choice)
